I always have my cats do those challenges for me.  They're not human but they think they are.  Or at least smarter than us.

They only interact when they want food or are trying to kill us by running between our feet while we are walking down the stairs! Then the usual, so innocent eyes, looking up? You mean me, what?

It's gone for me now. Normal upload without having to spot 6 staircases or cars etc. Not sure if it's temporary or perhaps if they trust the ip address you're ok going forward

But I was presented with 9 pictures in which I had to click on cats. I hate cats. Nevertheless, I passed the test, which fills me with a certain pride.

so most of the time real users won't need to answer a captcha. i have it working on my WP site & it eliminated most bots while letting actual users in.

re having to  be exact in the puzzle - if you  make a mistake it just gives you another chance

Did you know that reCAPTCHA was the first program to train AI? How did it do it? By humans clicking on traffic signals, etc. 🤣 we all been training AI for years clicking on cats!

Bottom line is AI is one thing but abusing the system by creating multiple accounts and uploading tens of thousands of images is not fair or ok.
