File Sold ...
Purchase License: XXL
Commission: 0.29

Not - it was NOT a subscription, yet $0.29 for an XXL!  What's up with that?

This is what subs look like
File Sold (Subscription)...
Purchase License: M
Sale Price: 0.29

This is what credits look like
File Sold ...
Purchase License: XL
Sale Price: 10

Edited to add another weird one.  Credit Sales are normally credits, not a $ value?

Subs are in $, Sales are in Credits.  Either a glitch in how they explained it was sold, or an underpayment.  Only credit (?)sale today so I can't check any farther than that.  Anyone else?

I was just about to start a new topic about this....what's going on with this?  It started in the past 24 hours...very strange.

Subs and credit sales look the same in the email structure and commission.

Looks like they have dropped the (Subscription) off the notifications - the total subs sold number has gone up.  So it's likely not 29 cents for an XXL credit sale!

But what is with the huge decimal point?

That's something the grows on me slowly...I kinda like it...don't know why it's happening. I must add that Fotolia are getting better and better $ wise.

Are you sure it isn't a sub? 0.29 is the Minimum guarantee for subs (silver). Have you checked the breakdown of your sales with tax withholding included at the "My Credits" page from the desktop.

Sale price at subs should be named commissions (in the notification), this is the only glitch I see.

If 1$ = 1 credit does it matter how they show up?

Thanks Dodie, I think we have it figured out.  Subs are normally indicated by "(Subscription)".  So starting yesterday, when all new sales look like credit sales without "(Subscription)", $.29 was quite alarming for what appears to be an XXL credit sale.   They were confirmed to be subs sales by the stats columns growing...

Sad that we have been so abused that I would even think it possible to get such a tiny $ for an XXL credit sale...

Just another example of the mind fk agencies do. Taking the word "subscription" out of the message is their way of ghosting the hike in sub sales. DP does it as well.

I was also surprised by these changed notification e-mails, but when you look at "My Sales" in your Contributor dashboard, the License column still differentiates between subscription sales and credit ("standard") sales, so the information is still there.

BigBubba

So...sub sale headline is "file sold" and credit sale is "file sold (credits)"
