I began with FT recently. So far, Whatever I have submitted have be rejected.  I am wondering whether everyone experiences it with FT or just my pics are having issues.

Now, I have submitted fresh 18 pics to FT, DP, DT, MP, 123rf. Everyone gets the same images there.  Let's see how it goes.

I just submitted 47 images to ft, 30 to IS, 47 to DT, SS, DP, PD, CanStockPhoto, SF, 123, and had essentially 100% acceptance except for ft, where I had 95% rejects.

Wow Mantis, that's horrendous.   :o

Similar story here but not quite as drastic as your recent result.

My acceptance ratio on every other site is around 90% or higher.

On FT it's not much over 50%.

In more recent times, I've been getting around 80% acceptance there, but it doesn't shift the average much.

I've just submitted 171 images (admittedly I had waited a bit to get round to their keywording and category input) and I got 31 accepted (16%). That is pretty good for me! They seem to reject almost all travel and location shots and accept studio/isolation shots, but, funnily enough, my sales on Fotolia are generally in the travel category!

I sometimes wonder why I bother with new upload to them!

My acceptance rate on FT is 86% (80% travel in my port) ... and it is better that my AR in SS (80%) and IS (76%).

Today, strange day ... 13 sales on FT and only 4 on SS (usually it's the opposite).

They are ok for me lately, 60% approval rate, and of the 40%, 39% is aesthetic crap reject

FT guy may respond to this.

Is there any storage problem? We wait to hear from FT officially.

I've been selling at FT for a while, and they are incredibly picky.  I get more rejections there than anywhere.  They have a particular "style" they like, and anything else has to be just incredible to get in.  They have plenty of images, and are trying to only add new ones very slowly.

Make sure you use good lighting- they like studio and indoors compared to outdoors. I probably have close to 90% pass on indoor and 15% on outdoor stuff.

I have a 80-90% acceptance rate for mostly travel stuff but sales are low and commissions even lower.

Yep, lots of rejections compared to the past few years. We've just been unlucky to have that one.  :P

I think a lot depends on the sort of images you upload.  I get virually 100% acceptance on people images but not so lucky if I try uploading anything else.

Yeah, it's not so much just technical quality as subject matter with them (and I believe SS to some extent).

I break my head and patient with FT. I dont submit for many agencies, only DT, IS, SS , Alamy for RM and RF, and now im trying GL after read a post in this forum. In FT i was lost my time. Was my first agency when i start discover stock business in last year . They reject 90% or more but i think that the problem was mine and try to make better. 6 months past and only have one view in my port with only 12 images...nothing more....Submission system is one of the worst in industry for me. Then Dt and for last SS . So, i pick my best files from DT, IS and SS and submit 80 files to FT , in another try, and deal again with the horrible 5 files system, got 3 approved. I give up, dont worth my time. I dont believe in spread ports in the net, being new in stock and have small ports, so... i will not loose my files but theuy will. I sell them in others agencies , better agencies to.

I have some good news to share. More than half lot of my images has been accepted and it is back online. I appreciate the hardwork of reviewers.  I am improving. I will soon share the acceptance rations across the agencies. So far, I am going well with agencies and I am improving the quality. My next stop is SS and IS, Let's see how it goes. Over all experience now turned out to be good now with FT.

FT guys if you are reading this, I wish to thank you. Don't mind my initial words, I feel those were because I was over excited and anxious at the same time.

Thank you friends for guiding me and reading my thread.
