correlation is not causation - no evidence AS approach leads to greater sales - eg, my AS sales are consistently about 50% of SS, with same images uploaded, at same time, to both sites

It is also related to content type;  certain image types sell better on some agencies.  AS is by margin best performer for me in 21 even without free content promotion. There is correlation between search engine promotion and regular uploads, as well as promotion of content that is regularly selling.  This is one of things I was referring to.

btw Top 3 photos on AS in term of downloads - is there any way to find lifetime $$ amount?  Insight interface allows only 12 months back

Get Microstockr and you will have lifetime earnings for each photo (total, per agency, per year, etc)

I only added 51 new images in 2021, since my efforts were on ventures other than stock photography, but my earnings went up 61%, and I earned the free Adobe software again.

Adobe has shown a commitment to contributors unmatched by any of the other stock sites.

Mat, thanks for all you do - Happy New Year and all the best to you and the rest of the team at Adobe.

Of all the services, only Adobe Stock is growing or stagnant and only he keeps me from doing this business. All other services, photos, videos, PSD templates, themes are falling drastically in sales and have long been unprofitable.

Thank you.  I am aware of microstockr, but was wondering if it was possible with AS native interface.  Their UI is quite minimalistic, which is inline with general UI company philosophy

Actually, I am expecting more from a software giant. A small mom & pop shop like Microstockr is outperforming them.
Even more, there is no AdobeStock app to check all this without waiting forever for the browser to load.

If only Adobe took editorial video and photos directly from contributors I'd basically go all in and upload everything I have. We need a 3rd viable site, Pond5 and SSTK take editorial but that's it,...

123RF & DT also take editorial & make submission simple - you can choose to have images automatically considered for editorial if they fail commercial standards.  great as you don't have to play guessing games about what they'll consider editorial
Yes they are great because you dont waste your time and just submit it to editorial unlike SSTK who don't care about wasting your time.

"figha" = high five?

AS is respectful to contributors.  Yes, UI is lacking, promotion of new content could probably be higher, yes this or that could be improved,  but overall AS is now leading by a mile compared to others.  I stopped uploading to SS, not so much because of 10 cents, but because of senseless AI rejections that just make your work feel devalued.  Most people just look for fairness and transparency, and AS gives that at least for now.  (And yes, sales are great, but these 2 things are interconnected).
