Is anyone here selling at Art.com?

I received an email saying I had a request from a visitor and that I should log in to my account and go POD Setup, but I can't find it anymore in the new site design!

I was so excited with the chance of my first sale, now I will probably miss it!

Regards,
Adelaide

Madelaide:

Is there any site that you aren't on???

How do you get the time to upload to all of those places?

you have some cool stuff in your portfolio madelaide.

I couldnt find any links on that site for how to submit. I have been going to a few poster sites but no luck yet, guessed they buy the rights of micro stock

Geopappas,

I only have four images there, but yes, I try to be on every site I can benefit from! :)

But answering your questions, I'm not at SS.

Litifeta,

That site is a bit difficult to find our way around, for sure.  Maybe it's so powerful that it becomes difficult.  I am there and also at some other poster/prints sites because I don't sell my high res travel images at microstock and posters/prints seem to be very popular in the USA.

Adelaide

But if you never reach a payout, how are you benefiting?

The iste info is a bit confusing and there are many options, but in the free account, commissions are 100% for original artwork (that is, digital file, for which you set the price) and 10% for prints and posters (priced according to size).

1) What do you sell at Deviantart?
2) Has it been successful? eg like istock and Shutterstock? Lots of places are just plain useless

Would love to hear more on posters and stuff.

kkart,
I've been considering DeviantArt for some of my work, but their website is so ber-cool that they seem to have forgotten to explain how it works (or I've become so old that I'm out of touch with modern forms of virtual reality). Can you give us a quick rundown?

Ok, I think I've figured out anyway. My brain just wasn't working very well this morning. Must start to get some sleep between the mornings  :-\

Adelaide.  "I received an email saying I had a request from a visitor"

Yeah, me too.  I think they're trying to build their site and are sending out emails to attract new artists.  That's OK, and I don't see anything wrong with uploading some pics.  You never know who will be the next big name is stock.

But answering your questions, I'm not at SS.

Hi there,

I know this is an old topic, but i'm just curious... why aren't you at SS ? Don't like it for some reason, don't want to try it, or some other reason ?

I'd just like to know as it's everyone else's best selling site, so... i figure you can be only on SS, now everywhere BUT SS seems a bit odd. :)

Regards

Francisco Leito
