Has anyone tried isolated PNG objects, e.g. vegetables, fruit, cars, people, etc.?
Probably these are already also extremely oversaturated so I would have to find some niches.

I would have expected designers to need these resources for their projects like print, advertising, etc.

Is it worth the upload or are regular images better selling?

I uploaded a PNG of Christmas baubles in November and it sold a couple of hundred times.

Just like a lot of the stuff, I think it's hit or miss. "Sometimes" you get lucky, and sell a few hundred or more, or "sometimes" you don't.

I have a small set of .png files, (I think maybe 50 or so), and in total (out of the entire set) have maybe sold 5 or 6 so far...

So... lol, if you sell a lot - sure, it's worth it. If you don't, it's not...

Thank you!
Nice to hear as it sounds better as I would expect. Not that I will start now creating hundred of Christmas baubles but this is encouraging to try some other objects.

Yeah everything in microstock is like playing lotto.

PNG sell well.

JPEG contain less data than PNG and PNG would be preferable to JPEG if only PNG weren't so heavy and the maximum you can upload to Adobe is 45MB.

I have uploaded png files with 50 megapixels. None of them has more than 25 MB. It is true that the png files are about twice as memory intensive as the jpgs, but 45 MB is actually quite generous.

not in my case,I often have to resize the PNG to fit within 45MB
