Cancel account and reopen again after some time? Anybody with experience?
Generally if you do that you risk restarting placement of any top selling assets, meaning that if placement in search is higher for an image with a lot of downloads, you would reset that to zero if you closed your account then reopened. You also risk not getting previously accepted assets accepted. What is your strategy behind doing this? What are you hoping would happen, or to achieve?
I stopped uploading about 7 years ago because it was not worth it anymore. I still get income of about 15 percent compared to those days. My idea was to rewire my income when i start again from zero.

exactly -- given the random nature of reviews, this will result in fewer images accepted

resubmitting images from 7 years ago is unlikely to perform better than your existing portfolio. the market has moved beyond what worked in days of yore. no reason to decline whatever passive income that provides, instead concentrate on adding images from today's world
Just start uploading on your current account again. You mentioned your images from 7 years ago still getting sales, so you will lose the image rank (whatever that is) for them if you close your current account and open a new one. There are absolutely no guarantees that uploading your images again to a new account will result in those images getting the same amount of sales.
Just upload again, if you had good sales before it will activate very quickly. I went from 10 dollars a month to several hundred at adobe in a year after a 10 year break.
thank you for your advice. You helped me a lot!
