Is this separate from the regular Creative Market or are they going to move things over? I'll have to do some deleting if they are moving regular products over to it.

It initially is by invite. Not everything is available. If you are invited to opt in you can select which items to include.

If this is true, wouldn't it kind of kill sales for people not invited? Now "pros" would get unlimited DLs of a special selection of images, which would make all other images secondary and more expensive. And if they're inviting "the best," then that would mean "not the best" is more expensive.

I have no work there, so I have no skin in the game. Just wondering.

They say they are going after a different market, and in theory won't affect the normal sales.

Which different market? I've only licensed a couple of things there, and I was invited to start a subscription. I'm hardly what they would consider a "pro" (them not knowing what I do for a living and all). I'm guessing anyone who's ever registered as a buyer there got that email.

That's what all agencies say when they do this. It has never been true. Not once

Totally Agree.

Creative Market Pro is for big clients, all small users which buy occasional or need few images will continue to buy as usual. So, it's additional option which will not compete the established market.

You can opt in or out your products.

For me unlimited dls is BAD IDEA.

Big clients are the ones who pay big bucks. Why would you offer them unlimited DLs? And I'm the smallest of small clients there (maybe one purchase per year), but I was invited to start a subscription.

It's a shame...I had respect for CM at first. But with their weekly free giveaways, huge image packs for a couple of bucks and now unlimited subs for some, I think they're headed in a yucky direction.

CM pay better than stocksy and other (only picfair pay best)

I havent problem in subs, microstock i a subs wrld. For me the only problem is unlimited.

A pirate can buy full CM and them re-sell all products in other site under a fake nickname... or create a megaupload link...

Very nice stuff in the pro collection. And a lot of packs, for example a vector pack of 40 seamless patterns. So I could pay $199 and download a quarter of a million images, some of which are packs containing multiple images and vectors, and most likely wind up with a million separate images and vectors for 200 bucks.

Why you would want to get one sub sale for 40 vectors is beyond me, but someone decided to opt that in. So you see where this is leading...why pay 48 per image with a subscription on Shutterstock when I can get a million images for less than a penny each on CM?

Ive made more money selling photos on CM and other graphics sites than I have with all the traditional stock agencies combined.
