I've been very downbeat about DT lately.  They've been doing terribly for me since the recent change.  But today, there seems to have been a "faucet turning on" moment.  Sales should end up about 4x what they have been on weekdays lately.  The volumes are large enough to be statistically significant... we're not talking 2 vs 8 sales.   And the prices, sales timing, sizes, etc. suggest they are not from the same buyer.  The difference I'm seeing suggests that something has happened to cause an increase in sales.

Anyone else?

Me neither but then again I don't have a ton of images there either.

Nope. They're steady at 4-5% of what SS makes me. Utterly pathetic is a suitable description.

Doubled my sales for the month ... 1 sale on the 4th and another one today.
But, my RPD is good.   ;D

I'm not sure how sales on one day can be statistically significant.  Perhaps if you have 10 days of increased sales it could be significant but I would still look at monthly earnings to iron out the blips.  I get the odd day with lots of downloads but it doesn't usually start a trend.

Not seeing anything unusual about today.

Had my best day there in a long time. Maybe just coincidence. I hope not though, and I hope it keeps up for the rest of June - my May was bad at DT.

A bit down compared to last month, still a good amount of credit sales though.

Pending time for reviews has literally stopped though, odd.

I seem to get a day or two every week where sales rocket and then drop back down again the next day.  I think it is just the luck of enough people wanting your images on any particular day.

I guess it's one of those search engine shakeups, that promotes top contributors with big ports and lost of old photos. Completely the opposite what they told us they were aiming at (to give boost to smaller, up to date ports)

Nope.  If it was I should be seeing increased sales.  Steady as she goes for me.  Just average sales.  No noticeable uptick.

It'll be interesting to see their placement on the right next month...If 123RF didn't fall of a cliff, it could become 4th again for a month. From what I can see there's SS and IS, way behind there's FT and DT was relegated to the 2nd league. Only top 3 really and I wonder what will happen to FT sales (those 100, 150 or whatever they got could make a difference, but nothing's changed so far)

I actually did quite well last month there, but things sort of stopped the last few days keeping it from being a BME and it has been mostly just a few subs since. More than any other site DT seems to run hot and cold. My tap is barely running cold right now, but hopefully it will start flowing again soon.

Same here!

Is there any topic on their forum about this?

Last month I did extra well, one of my top months ever - and this whole year has been going great - then this month is projecting to be my worst since 2006 (or should I say before my first month?).  What the heck is going on? ? ?   How can sales entirely stop?

Had a BME there last month by quite a lot.  So far this month sales are slow but the higher values are keeping total revenue OK.  The thing that worries me is that all of my credit sales lately are from 2010 credits - maybe they expire and people are using them up?  I hope people are buying more because I like the higher returns per DL - DT is usually my number 3 or 4 site.

"2010" credits are the most recent as far as I know. They just change the name of the credits when they change something major in the credit system - for example maybe before that it was 1$ per credit across the board, but then they introduced discount credit packs in 2010 so they call them "2010 credits" - My example is made up, I don't remember what was before 2010 credits exactly -maybe that was when they stopped paying us 50%.

Thanks, that's good to know.  All these different credit schemes are much too confusing for me...
