I hope Leaf is OK with me moving my post to a new topic. It is lost a bit in that existing thread about 2016 sales.

The answer to that click bait is here...

October - winter is coming + it`s the end of daylight saving time in Europe, so everyone is depressed.

it is also the date of the discovery of America, not sure if you heard about this indigenous curse made by the Incas on stock photographers of the XXIst century

There's 29 days this February, an extra day to complain about low sales.

but you cant argue the fact that sales are down on bank holidays and in the summer period. the issue is that people complain about low sales when they are expected to be down. if i get through chistmas and new year without a zero sale day i am content. if you know the specific trends for your own portfolio then you should know the sales curve in advance. no need to complain about expected recurring events .

I cant help thinking a short course in basic statistics would reduce the Goldfish like panic/euphoria cycle

Halloween, October 31st ... People are spending so much on decorations and candy in preparation that they can't possibly spare a quarter for the image on their blog.
