I'm just starting in the stock photo market and I was told not to even deal with the companies such as iStock. Contrary to what I was told I would like to try them out. Is anyone here actually making money?
Thanks,
Connie

After looking at your website, you most certainly can make some money.
For information on all the different microstock sites you can check out my website, www.microstockhelp.com.

yes you can definatly make money. It is far from a get rich quick scheme, but I think I would still classify it as a decent job (even though I live in norway which has a very high cost of living)
If you are going to start out, start submitting to the big six (check the links on the right) to get a feel for how different sites work and what earning potential there is. If you find you want to add more sites after a month or so, starting working your way down the list.

Nope. No money. Waste of time...
Depends what you put into it.

its good to pay for your hobby...buying a Canon 400D or more should be sufficient....but to do as a job.....u need to be really really good and but a cut above the rest....they are many professionals who make it and many articles on this....
You can go to my website (all about Microstock in the link below) to look at some of the articles under the "Stock Photos elearning"... ;D
