Dear fellow Humans,
I've just published special edition of the monthly report where, on top of discussing my monthly earnings and restoring and licensing old prints from my dad’s collection, I’ll be delving deep in discussing the latest AI craze and whether it may soon pose a threat to Stock contributor incomes.

All the best - Alex

I had a lot of success with a small port of archival type images on Alamy they produce more earnings than my normal RM/RF stock shots.
Though agree PA/Alamy are a joke now with their stupid pricing system and ridiculous extended payment terms.
As for shitterstock I'm lucky if I get over $60 per month now.
Still making lots more money working as an unqualified classroom assistant in schools.
Haven't picked up a camera in three months now ;D

Thanks for share.
Microstck: now is a hobby to get some money

Thank you for the report. I didn't know Alamy had a collection for film or dias.
When I have time someday, I will go through my Dads collection, I am sure there is a lot of intersting daily life history in there.

"The actual scream, Munch claims, came from the surroundings around the person. The artist printed 'I felt a large scream pass through nature' in German at the bottom of his 1895 piece. Munch's original name for the work was intended to be The Scream of Nature. "

I thought the AI expansion was interesting.

You said you like sharpening with Topaz AI.
I must say that I am also impressed with the SuperSharp AI "extra" from Luminar AI.
It is inventing blurry details with surprising precision, without destroying the image with those ugly contour artifacts specific to the old-school sharpening methods from LR or PS.

Topaz is amazing, should have invested on it long ago.
Speaking of long ago, I've been looking at some of pics from 10 years ago that I can "fix" with Topaz to upload for book covers. It's like digging to find hidden treasure ;D
Here's an example...

Spent the first six months of lock-down doing that with Topaz DeNoise AI. Together with the latest version of Tamron 90mm macro, all those old slides that wouldn't previously pass muster came out pretty well. Such a pity that I spent sooooo much money on film before digital came around!
