... did you know that you can now download as many photos as you want at PantherMedia? Wondering how that could be possible?
The answer is simple: The PantherMedia Photo Flat Rate.
Flat rates are available on a 1, 3 or 12 month basis. During the subscriptions term you can download as many pictures as you want. Photo flat rate pricing starts at 149 Euro per month...

Sign of the times. Boom is over these places are stretched for every last penny off our work before they close. We made them wealthy while being under paid,, competition has dropped prices to the minimum. They want all they can steal from our hard work. Then they will shut.

Totally agree.  It feels like that strategy is trickling down to most other agencies. It is going to be all we can do as contributors (who don't get special deals and are not factories) to keep income flat, let alone from taking a slow path to nothingness. For me adding videos to the agencies has not helped much overall. My photo sales keep getting pounded and then I get a video sale to make up for the shortfall.  My monthly income is so cyclic that it is essentially unpredictable now.  Panther may go first, but P5 isn't far behind unless they are happy with the revenue they make and will just cheapen the market further for their own personal gain, which I expect.

Some of you have said it, and I am on that ship...at least for video.  Now is a good time for a fair trade agency to blossom.  VB was a nice try, but zip on regular sales. ME was a nice try, but zip on regular sales. P5 was moving nicely, but now sales are few and far between (thanks for fkng up your model, P5). IS, clip dealer, etc...the list goes on for video. Stills would be much harder to do in terms of a new agency because you are competing against a much bigger machine with SS, Getty, IS, Adobe.  But video still has a chance in my humble opinion.
