Good morning,

After using FileZilla for a while to upload images to several agencies, I am looking for a way to streamline upload process.

Biggest issue with FileZilla is that one has to manually connect to each FTP to upload files because program does not support upload queues. Therefore, I am looking for a new solution.

I am aware that there are great programs which support upload queues, like Core FTP and others for Windows OS.
Do you know anything similar for MAC?

Mac users, what do you personally use when uploading to multiple sites?
Thank you and have a nice day :)

I am using transmit on my mac (http://www.panic.com/transmit/). It allows automatic upload to several sites.

I found out by accident last night that this isn't true. You can easily queue files over several upload sites. The point is that if you break the connection with one server, the files stay in the queue with server info attached. You can pause/resume that queue at any time. Look at the bottom window with the queue. After completion, you can click on the "Failed Transfers" tab and reschedule those easily.

I'm a Transmit user as well.  However, my upload process relies more on the Terminal and the ftp command.  I upload to my web provider first with Transmit.  Once the files are on my server, I run a shell script (my website runs on FreeBSD, which gives me full shell command access) that uses the ftp command to upload to each of the agencies in turn.  Then I go into each site and set categories.  The upload is a lot faster, since my web provider has a lot more bandwidth to most of the sites than I could get from my DSL connection, and once it starts, I can go on and use my connection for other things.

Filezilla does do upload queues, I add all the photos from my upload folder to the sites I have listed click process queue and off it goes. You do have to manually set it up though which is under File>Site manager.
If you search the Shutterstock forum somebody posted detailed instructions on how to do it a couple of months ago.

Edit: here you go he's just posted it here:

I upload to Photoshelter personal archive, then FTP from there to each of the sites - that way the FTP part is done even when I'm offline.

Great idea!
