Hi all,
I have read this forum for quite some time now but I havent written a single post.

However there is something that concerns me for quite some time now, so I thought Ill ask you guys and girls about your opinion.

What will happen with my commissions on all the stocksites if something happens to me? The sites state that the pictures have to be your own, so if someone passes away, nobody can use them as theirs - no matter if you have a testament or not.

Any input on that one?

Can you please tell us exactly which site you found this one?

here is a thread on this topic
LINK

I guess i would write in a testament that the copyright is transfered to whomever I wanted.  I can't see how there would be a problem if my wife owned the pictures and collectd earnings off them.

I think Istock says that you had to take the pictures yourself... perhaps that is just a technicality - perhaps it would be ok, if you owned the copyright from a deceased spouse or the like?!

Thanks for the link, Ill take a look right away.

regarding the site:
Istock asks wether you are the principle copyright holder, but e.g.:

Bigstock: "Photo MUST be taken or artwork created by YOU personally!!"
