Title: UK TV listings for DACS
Post by: Justanotherphotographer on February 18, 2023, 09:30
Anyone know if there are any UK TV listing archives online? Trying to fill out my DACS forms and I want to know how many times/ when certain movies have been on. I am really struggling to find a searchable archive. I found some old forums with links to various sites but they all seem to be shut down now.

I tried that some years ago and gave up in the end.  While I claim my own for books and magazines, I let Alamy do the TV part.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Do you know ehre these settings are? I am wondering if I can just let Alamy claim for any that I miss.

You might need to contact Contributor relations.  For TV, it will be all or nothing: let them do it or try to find programs yourself.  While DACS for me is around $500 per year, the TV usage through Alamy is only a few bucks.  So I don't think it is worth sweating over.

How do you get Alamy to do it?  I remember them asking me once but I declined so I could do it myself, but now I don't think it's worth the effort so would rather have Alamy do it but can't figure out how to get them do that.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

E-mail Contributor Relations and talk to a real person.  They'll sort you out. (They may be AI, but they seem real to me :D)
