Title: Who Partners with ThinkStock
Post by: angelawaye on January 01, 2022, 18:55
Hello and Happy New year everyone!
I don't sell on istock or thinkstock but one of my photos keeps giving credit to my name and Thinkstock on my Google alerts.
Does anyone know what agencies partner with Thinkstock?

It's probably an image that was licensed a long time ago when Thinkstock was still around (it's been shut down for a while now - 2019 I think). I know it seems strange, but RF licenses are forever. I just got a Google alert about a use in the Boston Globe for an image of mine credited to me and iStock. That image was removed from iStock (along with the bulk of my portfolio) in February 2013. Articles on medical billing issues in the US are as "current" now as they have been for decades :)

Thank you. Much appreciated :) I never sold the image on thinkstock or istock or getty so that is why I thought it was a partner.
I'm just surprised they keep crediting me on all the links after so many years. I'm not very proud of the image too so I wish they wouldn't (lol).

Yes, Mid-2019 Thinkstock was retired. Yes, there are still images credited to Thinkstock all over the web.  :) RF license is forever?
