Hey everyone,

I am wondering if anyone is submitting their vectors to any new microstock sites? The poll results on the left are a good indication for photos, but I wish their was such a poll or list for vectors.

These are the VECTOR sites I submit to. Do you know of any other sites that accept vectors?

1. Shutterstock
2. iStockphoto
3. Dreamstime
4. Vectorstock
5. iClipart
6. ClipartOf
7. GraphicLeftovers
8. Veer
9. BigStock
10. CanStockPhoto
11. Crestock
12. Deposit Photos
13. Fotolia
14. 123rf
15. YayMicro

I checked out GraphicRiver, but it seemed like too much hassle to upload graphics. I also have thought about selling my vectors on Etsy, but that also seemed like too much work for too little of a reward.

Thanks!
~ Eli

I have been submitting vectors to SignElements (formerly isignstock). It is pretty easy to submit vectors there by FTP.

I have long submitted vectors to Juha Tuomi's site Rodeo in Finland. I have definitely made enough money there to make submitting worthwhile and Juha is a nice guy.

@michaeldb
Thanks for those recommendations. I hadn't heard of either one yet. I will check them out. Has anyone else submitted to those sites?

@mtkang
iClipart has been OK. They were one of my "middle tier" earners during 2011, but have slowly slipped to be one of my lower earners this year. I make about the same on iClipart as I do at Graphic Leftovers and at YayMicro. One of the things I like about iClipart is that you can bulk upload lots of vectors via ftp, and they do all the keywording and uploading for me.

There is also toonvectors.com which is vector-only at 70% artist commissions on fixed ala carte $19.99/$99.99 standard/extended royalty-free license prices.

The site is brand-new, so I can't make any grand promises about sales in the short-term.  However, I do have quite a few ideas that I am working on to improve the site going forward - building on what I think is a fairly respectable starting base.

Thanks for the Rodeo tip, since I'm in Finland I gave him a call and decided to apply.

Do any of these sites have some sort of contractual commitment to keep your files safe?. Whats to stop a failing site to just unload (or look the other way and give it to one of their partners to steal) all the vectors they have in their library and create an account on some other sites to make money that way? just playing devils advocate here. I would be a little wary about providing my wares to every little shop i have no idea on.

Interesting list. How do these stack up compared to the big stock sites?

They are the two I would most likely consider from that list too, though I guess they are new so sales will be slow, they seem to offer the most acceptable terms.
http://www.graphicsfactory.com/ offers unlimited sub packages for 49.95 per year so I think they are out!
