 I just had my 5th sale at MP. My portfolio is at 911 images.

They pay 12.5 Euros. With the current strength of the Euro 1.49 to USD being paid in Euros is an added bonus. This currently works out to $18.62 for the sale in dollars before conversion ...

I had four sales fairly consecutively back in May-June 2008, but nothing since then.

Since it's been quiet over the holidays I've clicked their "What's Selling" tab a few times to see what pops up. The images change every day which I thought was great, sales are happening. Then I noticed a few images appearing every other day - great again because this must mean multiple sales of those images....but no, only one sale. So why do these images keep appearing in "What's Selling" when they've only sold once.

And reading back through this thread I have to wonder; what is selling?

Try to refresh - you do not need to wait next day. Looks like they just randomly select from pics with at least 1 sale - perhaps fresh sales are not enough for  page...

Still no sales here since joining in September 09 - but 4 sales within a week of uploading my first files to IS. There it is.

Also, I carried out a rough study based on a few images from other stockers that have sold 300+ in two years on IS - the exact same images have only sold once or twice on MP in the same period.

Nice payout if you can get it - but I have no idea how.

I've 1095 images on line now, still no sales...I'm not going to spend time there anymore.

2 today, that makes a total of 7 in 2,5 years.

After months without a single sale, a big surprise sunday: 7 sales of lighthouse staircases !! I doubt this happen a second time...

I had one sale in the beginning (2008) nothing since with a few hundred images.

Nothing in 2010.  I used to get a few sales there before they changed the site.

Same here. I got sales when they started, but not any more. Not sure since I lost my password. Their concept sucks big deal. It's on my list to quit.

Had a sale netting 12.5 Euros in 2010 back in February. Portfolio now up to 1659 images. Easy upload. Large commissions are nice when they do come. No harm for me to stay there since I plan to remain independent for quite some time. I am now on 17 sites and would rank MP in the top 7 or 8 performers for myself ...

I used to have just a few tens photos there. In the autumn of 2009 I uploaded half of my portfolio (as it's extremely easy and a good way to have a backup).

Never had any single sale with Mostphotos. Seems backup is the only reason to use them
