Just for the fun of it, what about a poll for who is going to be awarded the best player?  My vote is for Forlán, I think he played well in every match and made all the difference for his team.

I think Wesley Snijder. In the Dutch games he was man of the match in a lot of the games.

They usually give it to a player from the world cup winning team. At least they did it like that in the last couple of WC (not all though, I think Kahn got it even though he was runner up). So I'd say Sneijder or Villa.

PS: Why did they include Messi? Because he had the most shots of all the players?

I was expecting a better match from Forlan today, to put him in more evidence for FIFA's decision.

Forlan did one of the greatest goals I've seen at this WC, maybe the best. My vote goes for him. He's a very good player!

It will always be a player who reaches the final __ Zidane was the last one of course although the decision was made before he was sent off for the headbutt. This time the money suggests it's between Sneijder of Holland and Villa of Spain. My guess would be Villa.
