Anyone familiar with this agency? They look like they have some creative stuff. Rights Managed and Royalty Free.
http://www.arcangel-images.com/

This is what they say on their Contributors page -

We are selective about images that are submitted to us as this ensures the high quality of our collection. If your work is approved, you will be offered a three-year contract with us employing the standard 50/50 split.Throughout that time you allow us to sell license rights to your images with the photographer/artist always retaining full copyright of their work.

Once approved, you can begin the submission process. The first submission should be a minimum of 40 images, after which you can send in as many images as you like as often as you like.

We strongly suggest contributors make regular submissions. This increases your chances of a sale as well as keeping the collections fresh. It is important that client see new work.

You can also send in your work on DVD/CD although this method is far slower than our upload method.

I'm interested as well...

I have loads of "vintage" stuff.  Three-year contract sounds exclusive, doesn't it?  I couldn't find anything about the contract.  If it says something to the effect that "We reserve the right to make changes"  count me out.  Three years is a lifetime in this business.

Exclusivity for the photographer or the images?

How are the sales over there?

Loved the work done on there.

I'm also interested.
Also wondering if they're exclusive - before I ask them directly, anyone here know?

If this is the agency I think it is?  highly creative and they house some big names as well. If Im not mistaken they got some very high-end buyers within the ad-agency world, much more so then the Getty-RM. ONLY if it is what Im thinking about ( could be wrong)

Their stuff all seems to be really heavily filtered. Interesting.

Around 200,000 images.  RM requires exclusive images (but not RF).  Seems it takes quite a while to get sales from a few reports obtained by Googling them.  On the upside, lots of art-type imagery which don't seem to have a market in traditional MS.  So for those so inclined it might be an outlet.  The 3 year contract though puts me off a bit, a least initially.

That was really refreshing to look through after so long looking at micro-stuff.  Thanks for posting.  :)
