I am still more than happy with the way Istock is performing. How about YOU.
what would you see as the future and how best would it serve your needs?

All you have to do is read ANY of the other istock threads here to find out how most people at MSG feel about Istock.

I thought the Shank was leaving. That didn't last long.  :(

I see Thinkstockphotos.com in the future, lots of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and pretty blue skies. Of course I live in Florida so those blue skies will be easy to see from the opening in my tent.

In the future, I'm going to train a robot to do all my illustrations for me because I'll be too busy driving my flying car.

I've just spent half an hour researching, captioning, describing and keywording an editorial image, pressed 'send' and I've been LOGGED OUT and have it all to do again.
NOT happy.

Aaaah!!  It won't help for this time, but next time it happens, try hitting the back button on the browser.. the same thing happened to me the other day and after logging in then hitting 'back' a few times - to my surprise - there was my image almost ready to submit, with all the disambigs and categories maintained.  [that was using Chrome on Win7]

Oooooh, interesting, thanks. Wonder if it works with FF.

@ShadySue

You can also try (in the future) holding the alt key and pressing the left arrow key. This works like the back button on your browser, but does not reload the page. I often use it if forms don't work.
Life is what is and what will be, not what has gone before...

Congrats on being among the 0.01% of istock contributors who are somehow still doing well.

The future at istock seems to be more inclusion in the various collections, which only serves the needs of istock and getty. You can fanboy it up all you want, but at the end of the day we all lose this one. Spreading images out across these collections with less control for the contributors over where their images end up is not good for anyone, except those lucky few who go to work every morning in a certain Calgary or Seattle office.

I like Shank. I have always liked him. And I don't want him banned.

And I love the way he likes to stir things up :) And the furious replies he never fails to get. Hahaha! I bet he's having a lot of fun :)
A while ago someone here called him the absolute Mr. Baiter.
I agree :)
He does that to perfection.

Don't go anywhere Shank, life is a lot more boring without you :)

PS On Topic
Unless Rebbeca decides to give back independent artists the 20% commission I signed for, there is no future for me at IStock.
Unfortunately.

Shank how about you go over to luminous landscape forum and tell them how good Istock is. You'll have heaps more fun than here.
