Unfortunately, not for sales.

I created and submitted a vector file, got it approved, and had it's first download all in under 3 hours.

Congrats, marvelous isn't it, ShutterStock is eating IStock's lunch, couldn't of happend to a nicer guy (Jon) , and couldn't have happened to a better bunch of &*%@  (Lobo, Kelly, et all.)

My personal record is around 1hour and 40 minutes....
SS is the best.

Anyone else having slow sales at SS? I usually have sold about 25-30 at the end of the day but the last days it hasn't been above 17. Today I have only sold 4 !(luckily an EL included)  Especially US sales are way down.

It's been a slow start to the month for sure. New Year's Day was my worst day since I started (in July).

It's always slow until the first week of January is over. However, my SS sales are ahead of where they were this time last year, every day so far has been ahead of the equivalent day last year.

@Baldrick (you must be a fan of Blackadder as well...) You are right. I checked my downloads of jan 2011 and I have done better as well ( without the EL). I'll see how it develops next week...

Yes slow starting of the yer for me also, but it should move up next week I guess. Most schools are still closed until the 9th so not everyone is back to work 100% yet

Considering it's only the 4th and the first two days were holidays, one full day of sales... I don't get the whole "slow start" thing. And you aren't the only one. Come on people, give it a chance!

I've had a great start to the year at SS with strong sales and a couple of EL's already today. FT has been reasonable but both IS and DT have been painfully slow.

Pretty reasonable start here, and even IS has picked up (you could blow me down with a feather!)

I went from my worst day ever on Jan. 1st to my best day ever today.

Hope this is a sign of good things to come in 2012.

Ditto that for me on SS. Five days in, more ODs than subs, and an EL. DT is also slow for me.
