That is bizarre. As an ex-submariner (UK) from a good few years back, USSR/Russian ships in their silhouette/shape have always been very distinctively different from any NATO vessels. They've always been top-heavy in the array of comms and weaponry layered up their superstructure (more like a Christmas tree than a ship compared to NATO).

The contributor messed this one up.  It should say "Russian" in the description, or at least in the keywords.

Shows what happens when buyers don't know anything about the subject matter they are designing for.   ::)

It could be worse.  I know the countries concerned had a "frosty" relationship but I don't believe they ever actually fought each other??

Not sure what your point is.

Someone used a stock photo to make a point.  The ships are not obviously Russian excepts to an expert and it's not like all the "businessman" images depict actual businessmen so I'm not seeing a big deal here.  The point though is that (perhaps wrongly) I get the sense it's the fact they are Russian as opposed to say British or French as if servicemen had fought and died at war with them.  The US has not been at war with Russia and AFIK not even with the old Soviet Union.

There have been several similar mistakes reported in Russia in the last couple of years; e.g. for materials related to the Victory Day (in World War II) the pictures of German tanks and soldiers were used instead of Soviet ones (and Germany was the enemy of USSR then); and a few occasions that American soldiers were shown.

Same story with cheap microstock pictures and careless uneducated designers...

Shameful of that party.

Yes, the whole entire party is responsible for the mistakes of a few people putting the presentation together.  Maybe Pres. Obama should resign over it.   ::)

I guess I am wanting a thumbs-down button after all. :P

Shameful that anyone would make any judgements about an entire political party over something like this.
