Can anyone in US tell me the average time it takes from Alamy sending payment and getting into our bank account? I checked my acount today and it isn't showing up yet.
with thanks,

StanRohrer

As I recall 3-6 bank business days. Sometimes Alamy doesn't get it sent on the 1st of the month so there is an added delay.  Mine had arrived when I checked late yesterday.  What I didn't get yet was the Email from Alamy with the transaction record from their end.

I`m not from the US bit got it yesterday via SWIFT. Depending on your Payout method it might vary.
They are usually a bit faster than SS and thank God do not require an intermediate time and money consuming company like PP.

Still waiting payment using MB.

I received my payment yesterday with Bank of America.

Also, no email from Alamy like I usually get.

For paypal it always takes me until some time the second week of the month to see my Alamy payment.  It's a good one coming this month, so I hope it comes soon!

Thank you for all the replies. Are there any people that still have not been transferred  money this month through US bank? If yes, I'll wait. If no, I'll have to contact Alamy. I also have not received the email notification like the previous months Although the money in my balance has been reduced.

I received the email from Alamy about getting paid via PayPal but have not actually received the monies in my account yet.

I haven't receive payment using Moneybookers. This is the first time using MB. Before it was PP and bank account - no problem.
Did anyone receive payout this month on MB.

I got that e-mail too.  It usually goes out on the 1st and then it still takes up to two weeks to get paid.  Hopefully they will stick to the 5 day timetable.

For some reason it always takes more time (up to two weeks)
And as for US banks ... the experiences I had with clients from 'Merica sending me money were usually horrible and surprisingly US banks are behind rest of the world with technology (the fact that in the 21st century people are willingly using paper checks just blows my mind ).

...still nothing - no money, no email. Anyone else still waiting for PayPal payment?

fritz

Just receive mail from memberservices:

"Dear Alex,
Due to some extra security checks on payments this month it is likely that the payment will be delayed. You should have received it by the end of this week, however if this is not the case then please let us know."

I never had problems wiring funds from the US internationally.

I'd love if the agencies could pay us via bank transfer so we can cut out Paypal etc. as the middle men.

I prefer to get paid via paper check because of the stupid 22transactions/$20,000 a year limit on Paypal. I can deposit checks from home with my smartphone, so I don't have to waste any time, gas and nerves to deposit them into my account.

Got the money just now.
