First batch approved a month ago, and uploaded 60 pictures, after 4 weeks I see today they are all rejected!!!
The first picture was rejected for interpolation artifacts and I don't know for the others, no reason given.

What means exactly this sentence: "If we fail one image, we will reject all images in all media awaiting QC (they will have the same QC date).
Does it means if the first picture fail passing QC, all the others failed too??

Yes, they have zero tolerance, one rejection and they don't bother looking at the rest.  I haven't had a rejection yet but it would be annoying if this happened.

yep, if the first one or few images fail the quality control, they just reject all images in that batch.  ... be careful out there

It takes many hours to upload so huge files and after waiting 1 month to pass QC...

Can uploads be divided into smaller batches  [4 images lets say]with a day or two in between? Will they review these batches individually or as a whole?
Anyone use this strategy or am I just wasting my time?

I do that sometimes, but they are usually reviewed in larger batches, so I guess the risk is that they will reject all in any case.

Yes, they reject all open batches. I have had it happen once, I immediately uploaded all again except the rejected image and some similar images and they got accepted within hours.

I've had this happen a couple of times and reuploaded like odvdveer, but it didn't affect review times. If it took 3 weeks the first time, it took 3 weeks the second time also.

I tried that, and it didn't work.  They reviewed all of the submissions as one batch. 

I would say that Alamy is not the same beast as microstock sites.

But I can understand as we are talking about typical $100-200 sales per download.

Their zero tolerance policy is probably a way to ensure that the contributors take it VERY seriously. When you know that the whole batch can be rejected for a single bad photo, you are indeed very careful at picture quality.

One advantage however: they only judge on quality and not on subjective issues... no "we found this subject not suitable for stock" or "we already have enough of this kind" rejection here At least I don't think so.

If I don't have any sale yet here (hey, I've only 12 photos in my portfolio  ), I'm quite impressed with their search and ranking system. Especially with their new AlamyMesures statistical tool: very powerful and useful to fine tunes your keywords in order to improve your ranking.

Anyway... I'm waiting for my first macrostock sale now.

I too am about ready to give up on Alamy.  Uploaded my 1st 4 and 2 were rejected with a "fix and resubmit" option.  So I fixed the two (I thought) and after WEEKS of waiting the 1st of the 4 was rejected again and the others failed just because...

Why do I want to keep waiting weeks and weeks!  It's frustrating enough waiting for DT and IS but 4 at a time every few weeks I could be at this forever!!!

The waiting time doesn't bother me.  Only a few months ago, you had to send your submission by post.  I still remember sending slides to a stock agency and receiving a polite rejection letter months later.

The Photo shelter collection has faster reviews than Alamy, so my tip would be to upload them there first and only upload the accepted ones to Alamy.
