Is anybody having problems uploading to SS using ftp.   I am getting an error message as soon as I try to add files for uploading? All other sites are uploading ok

I have been having FTP and HTTP uploading problems for months!

All they keep telling me is it must be something on my side since it is only happening to me!

Thing is it works fine everywhere else???

Here is what I have gotten.

You recently uploaded 077_1.jpg which could not be read by our image processor. Please contact support for help addressing this issue.
You recently uploaded 073_1_edited-1.jpg which could not be read by our image processor. Please contact support for help addressing this issue.
You recently uploaded 099_1_edited-1.jpg which could not be read by our image processor. Please contact support for help addressing this issue.


And then this.

You recently uploaded 048_1.jpg which could not be read by our image processor. Please contact support for help addressing this issue.
You recently uploaded 073_1_edited-1.jpg with invalid dimensions. Please contact support for help addressing this issue.
You recently uploaded 099_1_edited-1.jpg with invalid dimensions. Please contact support for help addressing this issue.
You recently uploaded 077_1.jpg with invalid dimensions. Please contact support for help addressing this issue.

This last one erased my processed files from my HD and I had to re-edit the Originals and start all over.

Tried FTPing a video clip yesterday (750mb) and it simply didn't register on my SS site. I use WinSCP and up till now have never had a problem. I'm trying a smaller clip this morning and keeping my fingers crossed.

Thank you both but I don't seem to be having the same problem of either of you.   It's still not working but  I managed to upload though the site upload.

Started uploading a batch now. First one popped up on their side virtually immediately after finishing on my end. No problems.

Thanks.  Will try and reinstall the SS setting in FileZilla.

Sorry to dig this 'old' topic up but:

I've had problems with FTP upload processing. I upload with filezilla to several agencies. I then see files through to other places to give SS time to process...
And still almost every time when i come back to SS the files haven't appeared on the list. Then i upload the same files with http and more than often some of the same files suddenly appear twice on the list. Frustrating.

I uploaded 20 files yesterday, still haven't shown up yet. I can see them sitting in my ftp account at SS, but they just don't seem to be getting processed. Frustrating.

Same here. I had to delete them from my ftp area and upload them again via browser.

Just uploaded 4 files via ftp without problem and they appeared within 40 minutes. So no probs here.

I found their website upload to be much improved and less buggy than FTP.

Yes I've also been using the web site uploader since then and am really impressed with it.

Yesterday I uploaded some images via the web site (http).  After they came across I selected edit but I got a 505 server error message.  Waited a couple of hours, went back in to edit and the images had come on through.  Everything was fine after that.

Did some yesterday but they never showed up. Went back into Filezillza and deleted them from server. I then reloaded and they came up very quickly.

ditto.  I deleted mine and am trying to upload again.
