I'll look into it. I've always assumed the link added some SEO significance at least. To me its "cleaner" to leave it without a link.

I see directions above but want to clarify. I delete both my parent and child theme and activate one of other themes. Then i install updated parent theme, then install updated child theme. I have made changes to css on child theme. So when i install this new child theme, i am going to lose all my css changes?

You shouldn't need to delete your child theme just the parent and temporarily activate a default, that way your changes are saved.  That's what I've been doing and it worked fine for the last 3 versions.  Hope that helps!

Edit: i guess it makes sense that leo will not make changes to the child theme...it would defeat the purpose of having a parent and child.

Oops, something is wrong with the latest theme. It says, "Missing page" right after activating it.

Can you try to re-install the theme? Does it show in preview before you make it live?

I currently have 3 hosts.

1 host: After installing, it just went to a 404 error page. Did not even went to a page which I can click the link "Activate" the theme.

2 host: PHP error when I clicked the link "Activate". The typical PHP error, showing PHP code in the upper part of the page.

3 host: Installation, perfect.


Conclusion. Choose your host correctly. The theme uses a lot of resources. 

The sad thing is, I'm leaving this the host 3 this month because of downtime.

I found switching hosts (to Bluehost) seemed to work for the majority of problems I was having.

I'm working with bluehost and works fine. No problems until now.
