Hopefully this is the last question for a while.

I have created a blog page on my test site but it seems to be ignoring the 'Blog pages show at most' parameter. Any clues as to what I am missing here would be very welcome.

I am using the default template for my blog and it seems to work fine then.

Did you define your posts page? See the image I attached.

Also, there are a bunch of settings in Settings>Discussion to go through.
