Hi guys

Right. As you may have seen elsewhere, I've only really got my site running properly in the last couple of weeks. I'm on WP 3.5 and the standard latest Symbio theme/child theme combo.

Has anyone had any major issues with the WP 3.6 upgrade?

One issue, uploader stopped working. Even after switching themes.

Thanks Ron. I've seen that thread. Is it fixed yet or are you relying on FTP?

Same as Ron, no uploader even after switching themes.

I think I'll stick with what works for now. There's a lot going on with my site at present, and after some wrestling around with layout stuff this past week, all's well. I don't need surprises right now.

Those are my thoughts too.

Just uploaded, all fine, switched themes, Uploader is still working

The problem IS the new version of WP. Uploader gone after upgrading to 3.6.

After a couple of days of seeing the upgrade nagging me on the dashboard and my site seemingly working I couldn't resist any longer and upgraded everything to get rid of the notifications. Yes the uploader disappeared but I saw the comment by cathy replying to someone else with the same problem. I activated the theme with the wheels, then instantly activated  the main Symbiostock theme, then the child theme and have had the uploader working ever since. Just checking logging on today, still there.

Hmmm. Thanks everyone for the input. I think I'll put up with the nag messages for the time being. I'll keep my eye on the WP fora too.

There's Leo working on the extended theme version/plugin, which will hopefully available soon as well. I think I 'll wait upgrading WP til then. I tend not to fix things that are working fine
