Are they fiddling with the search engine again at IS? I'm seeing a bunch of downloads from my older images. It seems like every six months or so they have to fiddle with the search engine... maybe it's just me though...

I think they change the search every couple of weeks or so.  Some weeks only newest uploads will show up first, then it will be the most downloaded, then it will be exclusives favored.  There is absolutely no rhyme or reason.

It's not just you. I've noticed some oldies but goodies showing up in the downloads list this week. And it's not just old best sellers that had "died off" in a previous best match lurch. Some of those are old images that only sold a few before vanishing.

That's exactly what I'm seeing... images I gave up on long ago that had zero or very few downloads are now hot sellers... I'm not complaining!

Not complaining over here.  My downloads have gone up about 30-50%.

This is weird. I noticed some of my older images are selling more also. But, I just did a check of the search placement for some of those images and it hasn't changed over the past few months. So, if they're not any higher up in search ranking why are they selling more? More buyers buying?
