I thought it was too but in another thread people were saying they added more. I am not sure how, unless that feature was added for a select few and wasnt distributed generally.  Maybe i misunderstood something. I think it was the thread about adding the global search to our networks. I havent checked my network page recently to see if its possible to add more but i am still at 2.5.5. I thought i downloaded 2.5.6 from leos SY website, but when i install it, the details still say 2.5.5. Cant seem to get any answers. 

I took a look at the code.  If I am reading it correctly, it seems that there used to be a limit of 10 network links way back at the beginning of May, but the limit was removed.  So it looks like you can add as many network links as you want, but I believe that every link you add will slow down your website slightly (since it has to connect to the other Symbiostock website and then add the extra images).

I am up to 11 now, and have not seen any problems with the search.  Not sure how many sites have links back to me at this point, but I am happy to add more to my network.

Almost 120,000 images as of now. That's what I projected for end of August about a month ago.
I was off by one week, but still think, we are on track to reach that quarter-million level mark by year end.

100k images in two months, it can be done, we seem to get attention now from some big players. If Tyler comes aboard and a few others with 10k images, we might get to 250k come Jan 2014
