Is anyone else experiencing longer review time with depositphoto ? Usually was 2-3 days maximum and now it is more than a week.
Deposit photo was my faster approval delay before ! but its not the case anymore. What about you ?

Stop supporting these hacks. Review times should be everlasting long

They probably re-outsourced their review process to a cheaper sweatshop

I am very new to this microstock milarchy and have only recently joined several agencies, including DP.

I submitted my 5 'examination' images on the 16th May and, only two days later, on 18th I was informed that I had passed and that the images were 'Approved'.  Strangely they were not then added to my portfolio but left in the 'unfinished' pile instead.  As such I had to re-submit them and now, seven days later, they are still waiting to be approved

I've since uploaded another 20 images and will see what happens with them

Agree with the people above who said stop uploading there.

Did just that when the "subscription scandal" came out and didn't look back. And the same goes to all similar agencies.

Why deal with this when they account for less than 3% of your monthly income? I just don't see the point.

To be honest I am completely new to Stock Photography and thought I would try several to begin with so that I could compare them myself.

So far I have been 'accepted' at SS, DT, IS, BS, FT, DP, 123rf, CS and Alamy.  Only SS and FT have produced sales so far.  BS has been the most 'picky', 123rf sem to have a glitch between approving and putting up for sale (which they say will be sorted next week!) but DP is far and away taking the longest to get anything online.

I shall continue to upload and give each agency a couple of months before I consider a 'cull'.

Lately with their review times have become strange to me too.
some lots approved quickly and others who have made a long wait.

With DT, you cannot 'cull' as in delete your images. At best, you can only disable them. Just FYI.

pixsol, thanks for the info.  Although I use the word 'cull' I shall probably just leave any uploaded images 'active' and cut down on the number of agencies I actually upload to.

Once they are there I might as well leave them unless I decide to go exclusive with another.  Although I think that's unlikely.

OK. And that is what I ended up doing too after DT's 'antics' were discovered

16 days and counting 

DP works better with video than DS , so i'm gonna support them  (review time 5 to 10 days)

No, TBH I am spending enough time editing, keywording and uploading to 9 different agencies that I can't be bothered to start chasing and messaging

At the moment these are in the lead as the slowest of all the agencies I deal with.  CanStock are a close second (13 days)

All they are saying is that is taking a long time to get images reviewed ~which it is

I disagree with submitting to DP. Can I not?

I submitted 50 images this morning and got reviewed within an hour or so

I'm not 'anxious' I was merely passing comment.  I am interested by you comment regarding 3% royalty.  Can you explain what you mean as it seems to show up as the 8th biggest earner, in the poll on the right, and I would not want to waste time if the returns are so poor?

DP sells images under subscription packages to resellers who resell your images for high credit sales. You get 30 cent for an image sold for 10 dollar.
