(...) prices are $79.99 USD or 59.99€ EUR based on where the purchase is made.

This could be taken as yet another sign for the European market to be a rather hard sell for video. Lots of other info suggests the exact same thing anyway. Still interested to see how this goes, good news in so far! Thanks, @MatHayward

Oh, and it's 59.99 -- please put the euro sign where it belongs: preceding the numerals, just like you do with dollar signs.

As with all Adobe Stock sales, your commissions are paid directly into your Fotolia account.

There is high demand for video in the industry. We are looking for 5-60 second clips of lifestyle/people, sports, aerial, nature, and general b-roll.

Clips will be sold through stock.adobe.com as well as directly through After Effects CC and
[...]

so I take this to mean that "common" Fotolia accounts are included with this? (That question hadn't been addressed by existing answers here.) Would be glad to know before I bother uploading new clips...

Thanks.

@Mackie, All Fotolia portfolios are mirrored at Adobe Stock. When you clips are approved at Fotolia, they are made available for sale via Adobe Stock also.

Please post when all the bugs are worked out, and I'll get some video uploaded.

Thank you Adobe for making Fotolia a better place.

I just received a $1.74 hd subscription video commission.  I remember opting out of video subscriptions years ago.  I don't see an opt out button anymore.  Is anyone else having this problem?  Is there still an opt out?

They could do much more.  No idea why they didn't start a new site instead of buying one that has so many things wrong with it.  Lots of us saw an enormous fall in sales compared to other sites and mine haven't recovered at all since Adobe took over.

I guess I just had my first video sale through Adobe, since my commission is $28 for an HD clip, instead of the usual $25.
35% x $79.99 ~ $28

Where on FT does it describe video pricing?  On the indexing page, I see V_S Price (12-12) and V_X Price (200-200).  What does that mean?

And why can't they read the meta-data in the file?  No description or keywords come across.

How pro and great this thread goes.
Well done MatHayward and Adobe, there is a HOPE!

Sean, Google is your friend: https://www.fotolia.com/Info/Contributors/Royalties/Videos There you will see the prices and commission.
No idea where you are submitting your footage but it's not uncommon for footage sites to not read the meta-data. Many support CSV files though.

And what bugs were you referring to earlier in this thread?

Thx.  I know SS doesn't, but Pond does.  How hard can it be?

The bugs about 4k and other things.

They now have my best selling footage. Start Indexing tomorrow.Go Adobe.

Even CanStockPhoto, a small site with virtually no major work done on it in years can read the meta-data out of video's uploaded there.

I am simply amazed the big guys haven't bothered with that yet.

Can someone explain to me how Adobe Stock compares to Shutterstock with regards to commissions with videos, and how this relates to Fotolia? From what I remember, Fotolia was paying terribly for videos, but I may be wrong about that.

In general, do you get paid the same whether it's Adobe Stock or Fotolia? And are their current rates comparable to SS?

This is a great news!

Just noticed that all my HD Fotolia videos appearing in the Adobe stock but still 4Kvideos are missing. When this will be fixed?

Rick_jo

It is a shame that adobe stock is not separate from fotolia. You should really get your csv/xml batch meta import feature worked out instead of building new website under different names.
