Thank for the update, I am having trouble understanding what the announcement is. What does M&A stand for?

Merger & Acquistion, me thinks...

But I can't read the Chinese text...

Google translate renders the top part as:

"VCG announced that it is shares Getty Images

According to the announcement last night vision China (Visual China Group, referred to VCG) disclosure, VCG is working with Getty Images to discuss equity cooperation.

Getty and Corbis unified thing, Jonathan Klein admitted that he did not do something for 21 years, it has been VCG do. Now, unity and beauty canopy cover things, but also by VCG you do it? Wait and see."

Perhaps Visual China Group is interested to buy iStock from Getty?  ???

God I hope not!   I am no fan of Getty, but I don't know a thing about VCG other than I don't trust the nonexistent intellectual property rights in China.

The announcement seems to be just a reiteration of what is already known about Getty distributing VCG (therefore Corbis) content outside of China.

I told you so, the chinese will buy getty and will squeeze even further photographers pockets
