I didn't hear anything new about their stockphoto-agency-program, I guess the TO was asking about this.

yes i want to know some information about stockphoto-agency-program of flickr, is there any news about it?

I didn't see any remarkable news about flickr on October 2014 yet.

maybe yahoo is using them. lately all their ads are noise overdrive . they can only be using flckr, as i m certain no site to the right of this page would approve anything with that much noise, ever.

However, I do wonder what's going on at Flickr today.  With Yahoo being sold and broken up, Flickr's fate is unknown.   The only thing we can be sure of is that the new owners, whoever they turn out to be, will try to find ways to squeeze more money out of it, and that process usually isn't pretty.  Or successful.   

I never connected the two... but with Yahoo's announcement yesterday of the biggest breach of personal data - how many people have Paypal etc. tied to their Yahoo accounts for Flickr sales?  500 million users personal info was stolen.

I expect them to start charging for it.  It's an obvious way to start pulling more money out of users, and the new owners will jump on it.   Just like Microsoft did with OneDrive - when people actually started using all that promised free storage, they ended it.

The breach happened in 2014, so if there have been consequences it is a little late to be preoccupied.
