Just received an email proposing me to "Complete your registration"

Basically it's free advertisement for GI/iStock.
It's posting stuff on your facebook page.

The use of the word "onboarding" would count me out....I don't have many principles but being an Ambassador for I-Stock probably goes against all of them (unless of course it makes me a lot of money)

Unless the articles posted is about you, you won't make any money out of it. Articles could be anything like the newest Hasselblad to images of the late Prince.

Onboarding...the hipster/new age/marketing fluff BS is so stupid. Most of the time the words just create confusion as to what it is they actually mean. Wouldnt it make more sense to just say complete your registration?
but then again, that is kind of istock/gettys MO...confusion and stupidity.

The way Getty treats its contributors is more akin to waterboarding. Why would anyone want to drive  traffic to their site for nothing. Well a few diehard exclusive I guess?
