... then please search for photos in SS with, "Christmas basket with red apples and pomegranates decorated with fir branches" phrase.

That's insane.  :o Gotta be wasted energy on the artist's side, as well as wasted server space.

Someone left the camera on High Speed and uploaded the entire memory card.  ;D

We should flood the Shutterstock mailbox with lamentations for things like that!

What if somebody puts screen image with this 'movie frames' into their page in fb?

I think some people too literally took the - more photos - more potential sales.

Yes, Shutterstock...

I thought they were clamping down on similar image abuse?

This is just insane.

When I send in two similar shots, one gets rejected. How does stuff like this get past reviewers?

This has to be a person letting this through, because an automated process would cop on.

Semmick Photo

It is a bit of a habit for that person

That whole portfolio is just large series of similar images 50-100 per serie

It seems that we all compete with a robot. And SS inspectors are on its side.

Since it's the hosting space they are paying, makes me wonder, maybe we are missing something here?

Uploading 50 similars at a time pushes all the competition out of the first page of most recent. This is happening a lot with vectors, too.

I think the folks who were using the same keyword 50 times (until we complained enough for SS to put a stop to it) are now flooding the site with 50-100 almost identical images to squash other contributors from gaining any traction.

Seems to me the important point here is that this stuff can't possibly be coming in through the official inspection process.  Someone is getting it in through a back door.

Hmm, so no restrictions any more on sending in similar images.

Shelma1

Interesting that some people knew that before we did...and they purposely upload the exact number that takes over the entire page.

If you would think the apples are the worst...

And this guy has 658 pages of the same kind of repetitive crap.

Ugghh going through the first several pages is giving me a headache. I had to quit before I started throwing things against a wall in frustration.

No restriction on similars? What is this about then?
