I predict roaring sales followed by one day of zero, probably around the 25th.  Then roaring sales again until some US holiday or Chinese New Year or Spong Bob day or whatever

Depends, it's already past for some religions. Saturday, January 7, 2017 Orthodox Christmas Day 2018 - which is confusing as all heck. I'll stick to it's going to snow in the northern half of North America and more in Canada, lots more in Alaska and for sure on the North Pole.

I also predict that December will be the last month of the year, just to add to some of the other bold predictions.
