Hmmph... I'm only seeing one and I'm on both agencies... (reminds me to get uploading, glued to zero indeed!)

In my browser the speedometer images are downscaled a little bit which makes them fuzzy. It would be better if they were showing at 100% original size, or resized in ps or similar and not in the web browser

(I have firefox under windows xp)

jsnover - don't be depressed - I aspire to get my speedometer to look like that! I don't have much hope of iS looking better any day soon, but I'm pretty happy with DT sales...and those make me think I'm aiming too low. ;)

I'm not really all that unhappy - many of the files I submitted early on were weak and don't sell well. One of these days I'll delete them, but then a few sell and I'm encouraged to keep them alive. :D

I don't know if it is necessary to compare to the top contributors.  I mean, for the purpose of classifying a serious microstocker from a hobbyist like me or a novice, isn't a portfolio of let's say 1,500 enough to qualify someone in the "top" category and then rank others proportionally?

This is great!  Now I don't have to track my earnings.  I'll just log in to MSG and check my speedometers daily.

;D

Nice work Leaf.  I think it is a good idea.

If I could make one more suggestion it would be to have the gauges reflect sales rate (e.g. DLs/month) instead of sales volume + portfolio size. This is, to me, a more meaningful measurement of expertise than total sales and/or number of images online.

Totally agree with Sharply.  Sales per month is probably a far better indicator.  I'd rather see a high rating for a new contributor with 1000 sales at iStock over 2 months, than a veteran with 2000 sales at iStock over 4 years.  Also agree that sales is where the rubber meets the road.  Images online not so much.  I've plenty of images which don't sell, lol.

Leaf, what kind of script are you running to gather this information?  Can it gather data on when contributors joined?

sharpshot

I like it.  Will try and get my dials moving in the right direction.

It's no secret who I am, but I removed my direct links when someone threatened to attack the hypocrites who responded to a keywording post a last year and pulled through on his promise.  And for what it's worth, my speedometer would only be going about 1km/hr so you can ignore everything I say!.  ;D

There are portfolio's behind me honking their horns, passing me by and making rude gestures.
I need to pimp my portfolio!  ;D

Too bad you did not take in consideration SS, that is where I have a lot more images and more sales.

I do not believe it is possible with SS since they do not report out as DT and IS do ...
