Very sad news - he was one of the good guys...

I added a memory to his memorial page as I thought it worth letting his family know how much he was respected by this large group of people he worked with. I was only one of many he helped...

Really sad news, seemed like really decent principled guy. Sending out best wishes to everyone around him.

So young too, had he been unwell?

He was a decent and gentle man. Condolences to the family - he will be very sadly missed.

I met Scott in Vegas for the first time last year at Adobe MAX. We shared a bear and laughed for while. He was a lovely person. Very sad news. RIP Scott.

Wow that is such sad news. I never met Scott in person but corresponded on email, etc. over the years. A real loss.

Devastating news. I met him once in Cologne, when he was still with Shutterstock. Great guy full of life with a big smile. Very inspirational and very dedicated to working with photographers and artists.

Terrible loss for his family and young children, but also a terrible loss for us. He was one of the really decent people the industry has, with a keen, sharp mind.

My deepest condolences.

Mantis

Condolences. He was one of the few who seems to genuinely care about contributors.

How sad. Such a nice guy, a true professional, gone much too soon. My heart goes out to his family, friends and colleagues.

Could not agree more, a huge loss for his young family, our photo community and the world in general. Scott was an outstanding individual and he will be missed.
