Best Match at IS has changed again. My best seller that was on page 1 for 1 keyword is on page 7 now. Are you ...... kidding me. NO DLs today.  What a bunch of ........ I think it severely favors new uploads. Just looking at my own portfolio, the order has turned quite dramatically. DL/Month seems to have been DE-emphasized. 

Is it me or everybody.

That's strange because mine seems to be favouring the best dls/month images rather than the new ones. Of the top 20 in my best match search only 2 have sold less than 10 times so it's definately not favouring newest for me

It's just ebb & flow. Chill, man, it will be alright. It's favouring new files, right now. I've sold 4 today and 5 yesterday.

Well the only one sold today was uploaded 6 days ago. Just wondering if this is designed to woo the new contributors. Just a thought - but best match definitely has changed.

sorting my own port does seem very heavily weighted on the recent uploads. However my downloads have been really really slow despite keeping my queue full for over the last month. Hopefully I can get some boost, but maybe this change really just serves to further benefit the exclusives who can jump the queue.

I'm not seeing any change. I just looked at a couple of images that I normally track and they're in the same position they've been in for a while along with the other images that are normally there too.

I checked the best match on my potfolio and it's the same as it has been. The images that have the most downloads per month are in the front.

There hasn't been any change to best match.  The most recent change happened a few weeks ago when the search was tweaked to give priority to XXL and XL files.

There was a database indexing problem which stopped newly approved files showing and also affected the best match (no files changed in best match order for some time, certainly a week and possibly two or three weeks).  This problem was resolved on Tuesday and may have resulted in certain files moving suddenly up or down the sort order.

Thanks hatman. It certainly affected my bestsellers. I guess I just have to upload more XL then.
