I gather there are problems with using Payoneer cards thanks to dodgy accounting, it seems, at Wirecard.

Does this matter to us?
Is it best to use Paypal for now, where possible?
Even just for Payoneer accounts where money gets sent directly into bank accounts?
Does anybody understand all this?

I use Paypal, but some countries don't use PP, so I think Payoneer is their
only option.

In some countries you can't use PayPal to receive payments (only to pay), so Payoneer with it's 2% commission is (was?) best option to receive money from stock agencies.

So what happens to the ~$300 I still have on my Payoneer account? Is it safe? I received the email informing me of my CC being frozen as well...

Part of their message said: "We believe that cardholder funds are properly safeguarded and that the freeze will be temporary." The "we believe" part does not sound too reassuring.

Payoneer chose this fraudulent bank as their card issuer, but the entire burden is now on us? What a joke...
