Just report it to the Getty's support, "Contact us" in Account Management.

Thanks for the link - I just found one of my images in their portfolio. I'll be reporting them shorly.

I found one of mine too - I just reported it.

Thanks for posting the link. It's depressing that agencies don't do more work to verify the first number of uploads of new contributors; they could catch most thieves that way...

ShadySue

There would appear to be even less excuse when they're copying images within their own collection.

As far as I understand, it is not an easy task, but trust me, Getty's support reacting fast and hard to this tings.

I'm just looking forward to clicking one of the links like the OP and finding an error message or no files.  :)

Today his portfolio is still visible but clicking on individual images brings up a -  404 error page

I saw that when checking just now.

However, I have not heard squat from iStock support, in spite of their message saying they'd respond within 24 "business hours"...

I haven't heard from iStock either.

For anyone who doesn't want to get their language changed to NL, the EN link. https://www.istockphoto.com/portfolio/goldenpic?assettype=image&mediatype=photography&sort=best

When I click on an image, I'm happy to see:

There's another question that bugs me. Even with such an excellent port (stolen) did the guy make any meaningful sales, other than the usual $0.10?

Or those lovely connect sales for fractions of cents. You mean 2¢  ;)  July I had three 1c sales and one 2c sale. August the lowest was 14c

I need to be fair, my IS RPD was .70 last month, but I only made $6.28 - they removed "disabled" 3,657 of my news photo and now have disabled all my audio. I'm not as good as the images the thief appropriated, but I still have 733 images left (605 photo, 128 illustrations) and make under $7 a month now?

I didn't dig into how long it was there, but IS is $100 for payout. There's a good chance that he never reached payout. Only the original artists lost on this, as Getty just absorbs the money. There's no way for accounting to go back and credit 100 people for their pennies that were obtained by some illegal uploads.

No way to know how many downloads or for what amounts the image thief stole from the legitimate owners. Maybe someone can write him?  ;)

Just now tried - images can be opened. Different rules applied to different locations?

Gosh, that's a shocker: I can't see any of his images. Clicking UnclePete's link just shows me a random group of iStock lightboxes aka "Popular categories" not those that bloke claimed/stole.

And I still haven't heard back from support.

I saved the URL for my image - that gives a 404 error today

For the portfolio link I see this amusing suggestion that I should check for spelling errors or typos to see results :)

And no reply yet from support at iStock...
