Got a push notification via the Shutterstock app that a photo was added to 5 collections.

Is that new or did I just never had it before?

Might a new trend by these scamming agencies to make you feel good, newsflare has started doing that as well last month, I don't care what collection it's been added to as long as it's not the free collection, only notification I care about is the sales noti.

This is just another scam, another way to release dopamine in the brains of contributors and make them feel good.

No, this is not new.
It just means that 5 potential buyers has put your photo on some kind of memory list. But these messages don't really affect sales in my experience.

Yea it's just a little scam to release dopamine and make you feel good, Newslare started doing it and first I thought oh this is nice, might help sales but nope, sales haven't gone down or up there, steady but slow, Pond5 dead, completely dead, SSTK well...I made 10 cents today, customer in Taiwan.

I get these now and then and have since Summer, they are meaningless.
