I can't seen to figure it out on my Adobe Stock account.  I just want to disable my videos, without having to delete each one.  Anyone know how to do it?  Thanks

MatHayward

We do not offer this option at Adobe Stock. To take your video files offline, you will need to delete them one at a time. The only option to disable in one fell swoop would be to request your entire account be deleted via the contact us link found at the bottom of the Adobe Stock contributor portal.

I'm currently averaging higher pay per download on images than video at Adobe. Doesn't make sense to keep/upload video content. A disable option would be great. I see pond is the only viable agency to upload vids to. Sad day.

surpasspro

yes, it would be good to have a disable button for videos like shutterstock has.  If I change my mind later, I'm not going to re-upload the videos again.  At least with a disable button I can undo it.

Hi Matt, do you know how long it takes for the photos or videos to be removed from search ie no longer for sale after deletion?

Chinni

My last 5 video sales after introducing new subscription model : $28, $2.80, $2.80, $2.38, $2.80 - Avg $7.75

5 video sales before that: $23.80, $46.68, $14, $28, $17.50  - Avg $26

Should be fast. If you are seeing your clips still, try clicking on them and see if they are showing up as available. Most likely you will get a 404 error or a "that file is no longer online" message.

I'm in the process of deleting 7850 video clips from Adobe. All of them are going to P5 Exclusive. Goodbye AS.

I'm sorry to hear that @Komikmiha. I wish you the very best of luck with your endeavors.

instead of copying the bad decisions of other agencies, adobe should make some exclusive content program, the microstock begins to be very disgusting in the rest of the agencies

Videos can still be sold on Adobe Stock via Pond5's Global Partner Program can't they? I'm not sure if that is still going.

Chinni

Previously I earned more than payout threshold($25) for every video sale, and 2 video sales a few times.

And now waiting for my earnings to reach payout threshold even after 5 video sales, Earned $13.76 with those 5 video sales

Seeing these commission rates, I'm somehow glad I didn't invest time and money last year in developing a video portfolio.
I only have a few dozen of video's online, generating a handful of sales per year, at indeed pretty low commissions. I probably missed out a lot of potential revenue when commission rates where higher, and starting the learning curve to shoot and edit clips was still on my to-do list, but now... Who's still motivated?

Shooting and editing stills is a pretty solid and efficient process for me, and I'm starting to get the feeling that it generates a higher return for me than start shooting video, for which I have to go through a learning and investing curve.

I might be wrong, and the fact that I only sell a handful of clips is directly related to the quality issues my clips have, but I will have a mountain to climb when I want to develop my skills in shooting video, and seeing the comments of others, there's no cherry on the cake after taking the effort. Right?

Under P5's most recent contributor contract changes the GPP program is still alive and now cannot be opt'ed out of as previously.

So could assume all P5 videos maybe even Exclusives can now be licensed thru their GPP's including AS until P5 makes it clear otherwise.

I could be okay with some of these lowered commissions if there was an increase in sales volume, but there isn't. It was the same on Shutterstock and now on Adobe. Just had my occasional video sale on Adobe which use to be most commonly $28. Yesterday's video sale: $6.30.

I suspect you could thank Adobe Stock's new subscription scheme that can now include videos for that $6.30 sale.

Chinni

No use even if we get few more sales with new subscription plans, One direct sale for $28 is much better than 9  $2.80 sales.
(Earned a total of $16.55 from last 6 video sales)

Same story here. I'll probably close this account.

With the latest news, do you still think P5 is the best place on earth? I'll hang on to AS

No. I think with SS buying P5 video stock market is now officially dead.
