What' is selected? And what's the criteria?

I've had some of my images selected by Adobe to be part of the program. Is it something to be proud about or they just select something randomly to be part of it?

There is nothing to be proud about if you give your work away for free.

If I am not wrong, all illustrations which had sales between 1 and 4 in the last 12 month have been selected to be 'valid' for the free collection.

Those selected images will be reviewed and if some of those will be selected, you will get $5 for each selected image. The selected images will then be free to download for 1 year at Adobe Stock.

You aren't wrong. This is mostly accurate. I don't believe "all" vectors and illustrations that met the criteria are eligible for nominations.

Some illustrations with downloads have not been nominated :-)

Hi Mat, If I nominate all eligible assets say 50 files then will all those 50 files be selected or will Adobe make a selection again in that number?

I saw your messages and in some where you said this year will be different, may i know in terms will be different
and
Nomination deadline is 12th Sep and when they will announce Selected Assets and when payment will be made to our account - In Sep 22 or in Oct-22.

I guess last year it was longer than expected.

Adobe will make a selection from the 50 assets you nominate. There is no guarantee that all 50 (or any) of your nominated assets will be selected. In most cases I am aware of, less than the max is selected.

An image that made me .78 since uploaded, will now get me paid $5. That isn't giving away for free and I made more money than it ever did before. Not random, they want free images to attract new customers.

And since, I lost the opportunity, so can we request the team to reconsider the same now?

Or maybe, can I send say 1000 items to adobe (after the nomination period is over) and the team can do selection from those?

At $55 right now which is not free. I just got paid $5 each, for one year usage of an image that had less than 4 DLS last year. Or 50 SS downloads which none of these have ever gotten in their lifetime, or some immense number of IS connect uses, and 2 cent sales, which will never equal $5.00

Plus I got to select which ones I wanted to offer or not.

Five are new and some from last year are gone, but I've been wrong before... 👍

I'll see if I can find a screen capture of last years. I compared, 6 old still there, 1 gone, 5 new have been added. But they did do two sets of reviews last year? Could have been two waves this year and mine were from the first.

My question is, how does that get reported, and when do I get paid! 

I wonder if the ones from last year are being held over and I'll get paid again, or they just haven't aged off yet? No big hurry, time will tell.
