I have some problem with tax in my country. As we know as contributor we dont receive tax from buyer because this is the website who takes care of this. The gouvernement dont know what to do with that. Because we sell photo on different country. Is there some people who have problem with tax like that ...

Why should that be a problem? You report the money you make in microstock as income on your tax return.

in quebec we have to pay TPS/TVH if incoming is over 30 000$

I couldn't even get my birth certificate from the Quebec government when I recently tried. Their online systems are archaic, like maybe they've had a brain drain and can't figure out how the 21st century works. Glad I don't live there anymore. Good luck with your taxes...

I'm in Ontario not Quebec but I'm guessing the tax laws are similar, if you are referring to sales taxes then no you don't pay that because it is the microstock agency that is selling your images not you, you are only receiving a royalty from them. Your royalty is part of your total income that you report on your tax return.

As I can see this is not true. the tax person say to me i : SALES OF INCORPOREAL MOVABLE PROPERTY. in this case some buyer can buy from canada or use it in canada. in this fact we have to pay 15% (maximum of tax in canada) because we cant know how come from canada.

Spend a few bucks and get a professional answer from a CFA not from a forum full of well intentioned ill informed people.

Not sure of the exact provincial tax laws in QC but at the federal level you don't have to pay any GST which I am presuming is called TPS in QC. Royalties are not considered sales so therefore no GST. You will however have to claim the income and pay the federal and provincial tax for income purposes.

Best to reach out to a CFA to confirm I am giving you the right info.

-----Please enter your income tax identification number issued by your local tax authority for income tax purposes.-----

What happen when you put the tax number of other country.
