Genuine illustrations marked as AI

While preparing a new batch of submissions I just noticed a lot of my recent illustrations are marked as Generated with AI :o. I have a small number of photos generated with AI which are marked accordingly but have never created or submitted AI illustrations. This is a really low blow and I urge every fellow illustrator to check their portfolios for this. I'll contact support immediately but I'd love to hear from Mat Hayward about this

Same case. But u have to report each image id. i do not want to check all these thousands. So i let it be.

My port is not so big and this is definitely going to affect my sales so I'll try to find them all. Some files are submitted before Adobe started to accept AI content and are marked as AI post-factum so it's undoubtedly a bug on their side. Or maybe it's on purpose and it's their way to fill the AI collection with niche quality content

If you are referring to this, it means "adobe illustrator".

Not reffering to this at all.

Same here as well. I did get a response, but not a solution: we will get back to you shortly.

I didn't notice any difference sales wise. All that protesting against AI, I was panicking that it wouldn't sell... it's one of my best sellers. Go figure.

I had the same problem. But it only affected 4 vector graphics that have been online for many years. Mat has ensured that the "AI generated" has now disappeared.

thx9000

Managed to find around 20 illustrations, jpeg and pngs and reported them to support. I also found some of the AI generated photos I submitted are somehow accepted as illustrations. What a mess

I have never submitted anything generated by AI, and now, while reviewing my portfolio, I found 24 renders marked as generated by AI. All of them are renders from Blender 3D. Is this some new algorithm? Is AI searching for AI?

No. It is human mistake.  8)
Adobe moderators can't spot difference between Ai Gen and 3D render anymore and with this Adobe new politics to swallow anything they simply mark that as AI GEN and accept file.
Which is, by my opinion, far less disrespect toward contributor files than the rest of new Adobe rules of acceptance.
Even that they OWN rule is that AI generated content  MUST BE stated as one in order to be accepted to a collection.

Hello Mat,

I can assure you that the "generated with ai" has disappeared from the 4 files.
Thanks again for your help! I really appreciate it!

However, the second problem I told you about remains. I'm aware that it doesn't belong here, but I'll write it down again anyway:

The translation does not work with Adobe Stock in many cases. Different search results are displayed for certain search terms. For example:

Tuscany (search region US or UK) brings up 427,000 results.
Toscana (search region Italy) brings up 276,000 results.
Toskana (search region Germany) brings up 215,000 results.
Toscane (search region France) brings 214,000 results.

Another example:

Bicycle (search region US) brings 2,578,000 results.
Fahrrad (search region Germany) brings up 1,921,000 results.
The same applies to (bicyclette/France, bicicletta/Italy, bicileta/Spain) - 1,921,000 results.

657,000 files are not displayed due to translation problems.

That makes no sense!

Best regards,

Wilm

???

I assume it is programmed:
Fahrrad search is for BICYCLE only.
Bicycle also searches for bicycle, bike, cycle.

I don't think so. Bicyclette and vélo both lead to the same amount of 1,912,000 results in France. And it would't explain the Tuscany-problem either.

The problem is that my illustrations (3D renders) from the period before the ability of AI to generate them have been incorrectly marked by moderators as AI-generated. For newly uploaded illustrations, I always add a note stating that they are 3D renders to avoid any doubts for moderators.

Another thing, I emailed the support (as Mat recommended) and have not received a response for two weeks. The illustrations that were changed to AI-generated continue to be labeled as such. The issue seems to be widespread because I have noticed the same incorrect labels for other artists who also have 3D renders.

Has anyone else managed to successfully resolve the issue and have the labeling changed back to regular illustrations?

It's not moderators doing this, it's a bot that Adobe uses to detect AI and it makes mistakes. I have successfully managed several times to get Support to remove the AI tags from my mislabelled images, however it can take a while, and I have sometimes had to reach out to the Adobe staff on Discord. I've had the experience of getting the labels removed and then a few months later the bot went through my port again and re-labelled the same files! I hope it is learning over time to be more accurate.

A month later the images are still mistagged. I never got an answer from support either. Looks like things are on complete autopilot these days

I have the same error, the AI mark was placed on images that I did not take with an AI program. Fortunately, it affected only 3 out of 1500 images (all were png illustrations with transparent backgrounds). Everything was fine with the vectors. I reported it, I hope it will be fixed soon.

I emailed them about one month ago and I am still waiting for a response..  :o

It's disheartening to see that there is no response. I kind off gave up and my image is not 3D, but painted on iPad.
