There's a simple confidence tester and it only costs him Ten Bucks.

but i'm not offering insurance - i'm calling his bluff about DT going under - if they're right they're protected but if DTs still here, maybe they'll forgo silly chicken-little predictions in the future -- and the bet is open for a few others who think DT will be gone

I've noticed sales at dreamstime steadily declining each month, since January, so a lower payout now seems appropriate.

Since January 2017? The payout threshold is a bit high for how many sales and how low they are these days. I have enough sales for a payout 1-2x per year, so I'm ok at that level, but I can see how it would seem an impossible goal if you were just starting out or had a small port. If it costs too much for payout maybe they should charge a fixed fee for a payout below that level.

My experience is similar in '24 - nosedive, compared to reasonably steady in the past.

Biggest problem there is absolutely no QA - anything gets accepted.  They are running right now some "Earth Healing" Assignment. Winner gets 1000 USD! Someone submits 5 or more almost identical photos of person cycling on the pavement, which has nothing to do with Topic of the Assignment and they are all accepted (and image promoted to Level 5)

So, I made it to $100 and cashed out for good.  Now I want to close my account, but Dreamstime won't close account unless you delete your photos/videos one by one by yourself.  They know exactly what they're doing.  They want to keep whatever less than $100 sales left in your account multiplied by thousands of contributors.  I'm deleting my bestselling photos first, but it takes ridiculous amount of time to delete hundreds of files one by one.  Dreamstime is disgusting.  Shame on them.  I call it Nightmaretime now.

Yes, it is painful this way. But if you use a freeware which records keyboard's and mouse's inputs than executes recorded script it's easy. I did it this way.
